Dick:
Doubt that you remember...I've messaged you a couple of times over the years about how much I enjoy your webcam. With my place over on Sturgeon Lake and my home in Cincinnati, OH, it sure keeps me in touch! Look forward to thanking you in person one day.
When we were up in June we saw neither hide-nor-hair of the FT caterpillars but looking at a few of your photos made me cringe.
Are they still out in full force? Geez...one of your pics looks like some bizarre, hairy pasta...like something I might fix and forget that I left on the stove.
Anyway, coming up in early September for the month and wondering what I'm in for.
Any wisdom??

Hi Jack, Of course I remember talking with you in the past. Hoping one day you'll look me up as you pass through so we can meet. I'm not sure if the caterpillars ranged over your way this summer. If not, you won't see much different from past years. If they did get there you won't see any. At most you may encounter the moths-stage, but I think they'll be mostly done by the time you arrive in September. So, I predict it'll be business as usual for you, and excellent fishing! Good wishes. Dick

Thanks for the thought, Dick...I'm holding you to them!! Will try to look you up for a cup of coffee one day while we're there.
My best!
