Almost as high as it's ever been, Bill. I have never seen this much water. Lots of snow, for sure, but heavy spring rains have contributed enormously. Water is still rising. Pelican/Abram Lakes have risen about 8 feet from last year's very low level. Very astounding!

You'll get out of here, I think. Don't know about your destination, though. Check with your outfitter.

Isn’t looking good for opener. Been watching your webcam and not really much change. Heard they are still snowmobiling down on lost lake as of yesterday.

Waiting for warmer weather, Matt. Could be a very late ice out unless we get better weather soon.

Hi Art. Long time, no see. Great to hear from you. The webcam went down again last Monday. I have now changed Internet servers. It may be one week or two to get the cam online again, but I'm working on it. The best link to the site is www.dickshideaway.com . I recommend you bookmark and use that link once we're up and running again. Good wishes!! Dick

I've just received a nice note and a 20 dollar bill in the mail. It was sent anonymously as a contribution to my bird seed fund. Thank you so much, my friend! I'm glad you enjoy watching the birds on the webcam. Happy viewing, and thanks, again!

Yeah. It's not the Weather Network, Bill, but it's weather. I'm still evaluating it. Mostly it seems pretty accurate, but one day it was wildly off. I'm eager to hear what you, and others, think. Dick

Good morning, Wayne. Yes, of course I remember you and your dad Fred and brother Jon, and all the rest of your Iowa gang. Would love to visit with you guys again. I am retired now so no longer have places to rent. A good friend of mine does have a couple places, though, including one on Minnitaki. Give Kai a call at 807-738-0421 or check his website www.siouxretreat.com . Let me know if you come up this way, Wayne. I'd like to see you. You can email me at dick@dickmackenzie.com .
