Happy New Year, Bill. Temperatures remain very, very modest for this time of year. Heating the cabin has never been so easy.

We're just about out of the deep freeze now, Bill. Temperatures will be rising daily, until by the weekend it'll be almost balmy. Hope you're headed in that direction, too.

I predict an early demise, for sure, Bill. Our temperatures are forecast to get back closer to normal in a couple days so conditions ought to stabilize a bit. When it's mid March and we get a couple nice days and I think spring is just around the corner I have to stop and give the ol' head a shake.
I predict ice-out April 28.

Get your tickets here, Bill. Three for $10. www.endofwinter.ca I like your guess. It may be one day too late, though.
