You're right on, Jim. Ice went about "about" two weeks early. It disappeared totally about dusk on April 27.

Get your tickets here, Bill. Three for $10. www.endofwinter.ca I like your guess. It may be one day too late, though.

I predict an early demise, for sure, Bill. Our temperatures are forecast to get back closer to normal in a couple days so conditions ought to stabilize a bit. When it's mid March and we get a couple nice days and I think spring is just around the corner I have to stop and give the ol' head a shake.
I predict ice-out April 28.

We're just about out of the deep freeze now, Bill. Temperatures will be rising daily, until by the weekend it'll be almost balmy. Hope you're headed in that direction, too.

Happy New Year, Bill. Temperatures remain very, very modest for this time of year. Heating the cabin has never been so easy.

Yes, we do, Bob. We see almost all of the incoming and outgoing air traffic.

Hi Bob,
Webcam is facing southwest. Knobby's water base is about a mile east - to the left of the camera view.
Good wishes.

I'll be surprised if the border reopens any time this year, Arkie. Lots of friends stay in touch and are hoping for better news next summer. Dick

Hi Forrest, Water levels are about normal for this time of year and the rapids should be easily navigable. You'll have no trouble as long as you know the way to run 'em. I pass by Hochstedler's frequently and would love to have a visit with you. Here's my cell number... 807-738-2628. Good wishes, Dick

Just a hint, Bill. I think we have a few more pleasant days coming up before winter sets in.

Hi Wendy. Had to order a part in. Hope to get it fixed and running again next week - likely late in the week. Meantime, it's cool and raining here. Good wishes, Dick

Not sure where you mean, Blace. We've had good winds and warmish temperatures for the last few days, so if it's anywhere in the area the ice is probably gone. Dick
